U know..last night when I cam home around 0000Hrs, I panicked from the sight of a spider on the stair ways.

It was just sitting there and I was at the adjacent stair way panel, it wa like say 2 feet from me and 1 feet from left foot.. I panicked because it was huge and not the type I have seen around the house.I had a light with me, as I came home from work. I lit it and aimed at it slowly.

It was a freakin' black widow .

I literally froze at the first sight and I wasn't wearing my safety either.
I started shouting, somebody bring something. There is a huge spider tht I haven't seen in Male' before. I was yelling at the top of my voice. Darn it, somebody bring a bat or something.

then mom came running...!

the rest is some what different ....!

Why does your mom carry around gigantic plastic spiders. The only reason I can come up with is to play a prank on you. A commendable cause by all means

It's made out of old motorcycles and cars, and the rumors has it that it costs about 80 000NOK. That's approximately fifteen thousand US dollars!

WTF? that statue probably wasn't cheap. Then they sink it?

makes for an awesome pic though.
There is a huge one of Jesus UW off the shore of Cozumel. It is very impressive, especially since you see it after passing into a coral wall then exiting straight up from the bottom of the coral formation. The statue is right at your feet.

But again the money would probably been better spent helping the people of Cozumel.

this statement sent me into a frenzy. I saw a terminator made of car parts for sale in a megamall in Dubai in 2007, on one of my deployment stops. I was thinking "how many life sized scrap metal terminators could there be in the world? It's probably the same one!" Well, I spent the last hour or so trying to find old thumb drives and hard drives that had my deployment 2007 pics on it. I finally found an old Ipod in the garage that had the pics on it, and subsequently fought with Itunes to give up the pictures. I battled internet problems to download a 3rd party program that would let me transfer them to PC. They came out extremely low resolution, sorry about that. I took these with a 5mp camera and I should have the full res pics somewhere, but I can't find them. I don't actually think that it's the same terminator, but I still think there's probably a link. I can't imagine that there's a whole lot of scrap metal artists out there making terminators. IIRC the price you quoted is what the statue was selling for in Dubai. I've also included work by the same artist; an alien, starwars trooper, and samurai.

Holy shart, actually I think that it IS the same terminator. Exactly the same stance. Looks exactly the same, except mirror image and the pike is broken off and now looks like a remote control. If one of these cameras (mine or your friend's) reversed the image, it appears to be the exact same statue

Good find.

This artist has made another one also, but I don't know where he has put it. ... and a full scale horse...

Here's a close-up of the head.

The "remote control" is a beer can from Carlsberg
