Let's say I want 2 build circuit that can remove a certain frequency omitted from the original source on is return but leaving the fabulous music we play intact. Does that help?
No. Forget about building any equipment.

You have a problem. The problem is there is "hiss" coming from your equipment. This is not normal.
Fix the faulty equipment in the first place.

OK soz u rite bout dat . but say I can t fix me ikle problem is there any components I can utilise 2 remove an original htz from the first signal from the returning signal. Please boyz thro me a bone here godamnit

I would think any sound man worth his pay should be able to do that. If you can't find anyone that can do it then it likely can't be done.

And enough of the text speak already. How old are you? 2?

A hiss is not a specfic frequency, it is what is called white noise, which is a mix of all frequencies. That is why you need to find the source of the hiss. Any filter you use to take it out will affect the music. Does your band use cymbals? Guess what is a large component of the sound they produce.

OK so our band plays live music and we record or performances so I need 2 build a device that can cancel out the very high pitch frequencies that come from imperfect sound equipment so that our recording sound great. So a circuit that can remove certain returning frequencies leaving the music intact
I nearly spit my coffee onto my laptop! What a hoot to finally learn you want to make $shit sound like $hinola when it's recorded.

Heed what's been offered. Adding additional processing between the musicians and the recording is NOT the right approach. Cleaning up that process at every step (the instruments, the musicians themselves, the amplifiers and speakers, the room acoustics, the recording microphones and equipment, etc.) will lead to a far superior result. You'll probably improve the experience of your audience along the way, if that's something you care about.

If you absolutely cannot solve the problem at the source(s), the filtering you want to accomplish is relatively 'simple' in software although not without side effects.

I've done this before to remove 60Hz. Before I even will discuss the circuit, I need the original poster to CLEARLY state what information he is looking for in the "return" signal. I've read through the ENTIRE thread (pretty much a first for me) and I am as unclear now as to what the goals are as I was at the first post.

I think, even with my bad spelling, I could win a spelling bee with this guy. Technology is making these kid dumber & dumber.

This is kind of sounding like he wants to "pirate record" a band, not record one he's in.
Therefore, if all he wants to remove is "hiss" then software is already capable of doing this...to a degree.

Please SKL001 can u explain what components you used to remove 60hz in your project please. That will be really helpful. I know I have got off on the wrong foot with your community therefore they will only discuss subject rather than object... Understandable. But I really just need to be pointed in the right direction and I can take it from there. Can you please explain how you managed to remove 60hz, what process did you use, which components, much appreciated, many thanks Jonty

To All About Circuits community. Apologies if I aggravated your community with 'TXT speak' and for not making it clear from the beginning what I was asking. So from now on will only use The Queen's English. It's a learning curb brothers and sisters will try harder next time. New member and all that.

Doing it from the mixing board there should be no hiss, if there is, the mixing board is the problem. The mixing board takes sound from each instruments amplifier and mixes it to a single output that is then sent to the PA (public address) system. That sound is what people in the venue hear, not the sound from the individual amplifiers.
