Hi..Please someone assist

I am trying to get +15 and -15 with one output from function generator and unfortunately my generator has 20vpp as max.

Please what can I do? Any way to make doubler or something to get this? (I'll use zener and transistor for constant v and I)

Thank you ( unfortunately I will not respond till about 3hrs)

So you need an amplifier with gain of 1.5 (30/20). What frequency are you working with? In the audio range, it would be cheap and easy to get yourself a line-powered audio amplifier.

Depending on the output current required, you could buy one of the following from ebay (you may need to rectify the input voltage from your signal generator).

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Positive...hash=item3af6aa4f59:m:mILN6i0QSErN_7jI0y_nvlg

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/30W-DC-D...142258?hash=item23b4247032:g:jJQAAOSwyn1cRCWJ

Other types are available, but be aware some require a dual rail input (check the specs carefully) – note that the negative output rail current rating is less than the positive.

Thanks but where will the 30 come from? the extra volts

Thank you im checking..Will be nice to know how to make it

and what's the frequency kenneth? This sort of thing is done all the time to match impedence and provide isolation in audio circuits.

It's gonna depend on what and how many frequencies you need for this. An assortment of wideband transformer might suffice for generator range. It also will depend on the amount of current you need with that + - 15 volts.

I want to use the +-15 for input V for transistors and amplifier circuits to learn them....Just dc..output is dc voltage

you didn't specify... usually function generators are used for outputting waveforms: not DC

Yes I was not clear...Rectify from Ac to Dc...I can get +9 and -9 from 20vpp but I can not come up with a circuit, maybe doubler for +-15 but it will be possible for +15 not both
