As it turns out, expensive GPUs and CPUs are probably in surplus, prices are threatening to fall & the fabs 'rushed' to cut supplies to limit price falls.
but that low cost highly used parts such as LDOs, mosfets that is mass used in just about many devices e.g. led lights are still in critical shortfall.
the trouble is if these components double in prices, the cost of low cost electronics such as led lights, basic electronics may double, triple, quadruple in prices.
