Two black stripes on the White belt, soon she will test for the next level Yellow belt.:)
I double clicked that photo and it increased in size, who knew?

BTW, I did Marshall arts most of my life since 9 years of age, until 42, great exercise. Because of my work related asthma and neck issues, Brazilian Jujitsu I couldn't but wanted to try, it's an excellent exercise as well. If you can find a Wing Chung it's a very good style, I've done Kempo, Asian Arts is a little know art form, Wing Chung is one of my favorites besides Brazilian Jujitsu.

Asian Arts is still kept in China, I was taught by someone who learned it in Vietnam, his father stationed there, he went to a "do jo" he stayed in a kneeling position for days, they would feed him, but as an American was not to be taught the art form, finally he was permitted to enter, just to stop him from begging, once in, older students beat him over and over, breaking bones, after healing he came right back until he rose in the ranks to brown belt, he was never given the right as a black belt because they didn't want him to teach, he came back to America and went to California, he inspired the film "Kung Fu" to be written but my teacher would never be cast in it, they chose David Carradine. Once that happened he closed his Do Jo and vanished no one knows where he went after that, as students we looked for a style worth learning when one of my other Companion Students said he found a good style and I should check it out, I was sold.

I like both of these because it requires contact, Bruce Lee, learned Wing Chung from Ip Man, Ip Man stories I'm told are true during the Japanese occupation, forced labor as well as fighting the Japanese to prove who is better, if they won they would get rice until they fought and didn't win, which sometimes ended in death.

Because of the Japanese living in Brazil, Brazilian Jujitsu was born.

Chuck Noris was so impressed he brought it to America via the Gracie Brothers, "Gracie jiu-jitsu" the two styles are more hand to hand combat. They both can kill or stop attacks quickly, Wing Chung is referred to as the "Old man style of fighting" which the Wing Chungs history, named after a Women Wing Chung, the style is based on human movements some animal movements, it's a mutated version of Shaolin Kung Fu.

They grow up much too quickly.

I'm not training her to be an expert, just basic self-defense but soon it will be time for serious firearms training with my S@W 2214 at the range. It's an easy to fire weapon made (low barrel with high sights to see over the suppressor tube) for a threaded barrel kit and ATF legal suppressor.

Not everything's been bad during the rain. The normally dry creek that runs behind my house has been filled to the brim, and it's amazing seeing how hummingbirds keep on feeding even under the rain.

Looks like he hit the high-line pole hard enough to snap the pole and the empty truck box flipped up and around onto the house. Not something you ever see and the cab doesn't look that damaged from a head-on collision...

I see no tyre prints on the asphalt, so it seems no braking was involved. But I see dirt coming out of the ditch. My guess is he was driving in the same direction to which the camera is pointing, got distracted and inadvertently swerved to the right, hit the ditch and then swerved left while the box bounced on the ditch, got on top of the house, and was finally stopped when it hit the pole in the background.

Three days ago, in Puerto Madryn - Chubut, I completed the last vessel of my working life ashore.

While the adults were on the dolphin down there, she was almost on the pier, showing some teeth and growling but not much worried about me.
