Hi ,

One more guideline pl.
I want to create voltage source with pulse of 5V with say 1500mS At input of U23 i.e V8 . Before this pulse completes there is another pulse on same line for 60mS only. Need to check that this 60mS will not impact 1500mS operation it gets filter out. How we can create a source ?

Hi,

I am trying to put 1.2 Sec as per Eric suggestion. 1200 mS pulse with 60mS drop generated. However Simulation takes longer time to complete. Is there any option in LTSPICE to speed up simulation ?

Also can you pl. explain how scaling is done or factor selected in {1500m/mas} ?
Friend sorry to take your time. I am using LTSpice first time.

I squeezed time 100 times. This sped up styling by 30%. The sharp decrease in the volume of memorized nodes with the help of ".Save" significantly accelerated the simulation. LTspice uses less computer memory. Also, do not install sharp edges of control pulses. I replaced 1 ns for 5 ns. I also changed some options. See ".opt ...".

Hi Bordodynov,

Thanks. What are programs for it ? If we need faster simulation?
A long time ago I used B2 Spice v.3 or v.4. This is the slowest Spice, but it had an additional logical mode (digital simulation). The library included all the elements of the standard series. This program is now you do not buy, but on the Internet it is. Newer versions do not have a separate mode for digital modeling.

2019-04-17_07-59-30.png I gave a link to the light version. Its size is 17M. It also has a limit on the number of electrical conductors. But you can practice and see that this program has a sufficient library of logical elements. For the program without limits you must download the full version.

Hi All,

Thank you very much for your support. I almost done with simulations. One part I am trying to simulate that solenoid current. We got waveform for solenoid current attached. I would like to simulate similar or closer waveform. For solenoid I will put inductor. Image is as below.

Initially for short duration say for 100mS current is 0.6A at 380Vdc and then it drops to 80mA for 50V. Can we simulate such currrent variation with exponent as shown in waveform above?
Look at channel 4 in green for current.

Thanks in Advance.

hi amod,
Have you tried approximating the current waveform using a Independent Current Source and a PWL (t1,i1.......) or a PWL File or a Table.?
