i have an idea

can i use the jack i showed you. solder copper speaker wires (twisted up or a single wire????)to board after desoldering the jack connector.
put the speaker wire in the connector (so won't be securely but will save me from having to cut up the cable). then plug in the connector cord into wall.

i would just have to make sure i plug in the cord last and don't touch it anymore until i unplug it again.

will this work also????

That won't work.
It will create loose connection, which is the problem we are trying to eliminate
Speaker wire insulation can withstand temporary usage. For test purposes it will work.

Yea, that is perfect.
See that you can solder two pieces to the PCB power connector jack, you can solder them from the solder side.
Replace fuse, Hook it up to the mains, and measure the Voltage at the bridge input.
Do not solder bridge yet
Post back.

I will be here for at least 6 hrs. So take your time.

No need to desolder the jack connector.
About that plugging to the mains. Do you have any power cord that can be cut to joint the cables.
What do you have at hand.
or better yet show me the plug of that power cord you have
