Hello,

I don't know if anyone else here uses TPM's on there computers for added security or not. Maybe some one uses them at work most likely. Below is a project I have slowly been tinkering together for some time. Its a just a mechanical switch that turns power from one drive to another. My question is will a TPM Block a bios from booting because I am not even booting threw to, the press this button for bios screen. As I understand it a TPM should not engage till a bit latter as it is engaged once the bios notices the encryption on the drive. The TPM is just telling the drive to boot or not boot depending on what keys are exchanged? I know dTPM & PPT area bit different. I used dTPM just for that reason. Just making sure my intuition is correct and it is much more likely a connectivity problem. Perhaps some one with more experience than me can tell me what this problem looks like to them. Who knows maybe its very typical thing for a TPM to do and I just don't know about them like I thought I did.

Basically I just get a black screen when i flip away form the windows drive.

truly surprised that this is not something some one here does or knows about. Funny thing it started working as expected all of a sudden so no worries.
