Hello, I'm trying to learn how to code in VHDL. I already have some basis I learned from school and I want to improve my knowledge in this field. I was wondering if there is any way to test my code on a kind of virtual FPGA. Is there any website or software that allows you to test your code as if you're using a real FPGA and see the results? Also, is there any material (website/books) that you can recommend?

It's not a "virtual FPGA" but GHDL and GTKWave is what I use to debug my VHDL prior to moving to vendor-specific tools for FPGA programming.
