I definitely agree with you, I’m just dreading the final quote for the 3D print of my model, the component are likely going to cost less than 5% the total cost of the projectIt might actually produce better sound form 1 than 4 cheap ones would, but I understand.
I built s two way system based on a 6” woofer from the same manufacturer, and it produces awesome sound.

Not quite...Ok, thank you for the breakdown, could I ask how do you know the module is built for a 4Ω impedance?
If I understand your description correctly (my technical knowledge is lacking) is this the kind of configuration you are describing?View attachment 239107
Ok thanks so much! No problem, stay safeNot quite...
I’ll sketch something up when I get home. On my way into the city for a doc’s appointment. Or maybe someone else will.

4Ω 3W speaker is recommended.
You don't necessarily have to meet those specs.Ok, I’ll look for speaker with these specs thanks
Just seeing this now, thanks, really appreciate it!Here is the diagram of the series/parallel wiring of 4 - 4Ω speakers to end up with a 4Ω load to your amplifier.

Hi-fi is not an electronics term; it is a marketing firm. It means sound quality from them might be better. On a side note, I've found these speakers which are the size I want and they seem to have the correct Wattage and Ohm, however, they are AC speakers and also Hi-fi, will these still be ok to use?
I don't know where you have read this. I have never heard anyone refer to loudspeaker transducers as AC speakers. All speakers are AC speakers. On a side note, I've found these speakers which are the size I want and they seem to have the correct Wattage and Ohm, however, they are AC speakers and also Hi-fi, will these still be ok to use?
Ah ok, didn't know it was a marketing term!Hi-fi is not an electronics term; it is a marketing firm. It means sound quality from them might be better.
And I’m not sure what an AC speaker is. A speaker reproduces the sound represented by a sound signal. Sound signals are AC, so I guess all speakers are AC speakers.
My opinion is that these will work.
Thanks, I guess it was just Amazon unnecessarily specifying something that was already standard! Thanks for your guidance, I agree, I'm ordering all of this today so you guys should have a break from my novice questions for a while lolI don't know where you have read this. I have never heard anyone refer to loudspeaker transducers as AC speakers. All speakers are AC speakers.
I believe that you might be over thinking this.
Get the sound module and try it with any small loudspeaker.
After that you can decide what to buy. These speakers are a dime a dozen (so to speak).
Those actually look better than the others you have linked.
Unless he has chosen a different module, the TS will require four of these wired in parallel. The amplifier drives an impedance of 4Ω.Here is what you need: https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/soberton-inc/WSPH-3005/9924445
Hi Bob,Those actually look better than the others you have linked.
But note: There are no spec listed. Did you notice all the specifications on the ones I linked? That is what I like to see when ordering speakers (Not that anyone but a professional speaker designer would understand most of them.)
Bob
thanks for the link Annie, but unless I’m mistaken the amp limit on these may be a little low compared with what others have been advising, I may be wrong though. I put my faith in everyone’s knowledge here above my ownHere is what you need: https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/soberton-inc/WSPH-3005/9924445
Hi Annie,Exactly what he asked for. Four 30mm speakers but he wanted 3W but was it RMS or peak? He gets 1W RMS 2W peak. There is some a bit larger but more powerful: https://www.digikey.com/en/products...mon2BeSU1YbtCJZaACYqHWBiEArKdeyKAJ7yqXUJKKNAA
