Not really, but even legit threads are occasionally revived. The new post is usually split off, a reference to the old thread is made in the form of a link, and life continues.

It would prove a daunting task to search for HHO threads and close them manually ... one-by-one. I wouldn't want our moderators wasting their valuable volunteer time when they can catch them once revived by a believer.

 

We also wouldn't want to prevent the OP's from giving updates on their successes. If the threads are locked, it would be as if AAC had joined the oil company conspiracy.

HHO threads are people who think they can break something down and burn it making the same thing they had in the beginning and somehow get energy from this.
It sounds good when they glitz it up with fancy words, but at the base it just sounds ridiculous.

Like I said, there is a core of true believers that show up occasionally needing help with the circuits. You use the key words at your own risk, as it shines like a becon on Google. The fact I used his name may be a bad thing.
