People looking away from the camera?!
One of my bigger peaves is the whole "selfie" thing, and it goes further than that. I wish more people could appreciate natural beauty without the need to plaster their face on top of it.

Unless it's a beautiful face that's being plastered on top, of course...People looking away from the camera?!

This must be you then, from the other side of the intersection:My first submission is going to be a little different than the others i think. This is more like "A day in the life" picture. I took it one day while waiting for a red light to change.
The trick to that is limit daily driving time to 5 hours or less on average and don't eat in the car.@nsaspook I am impressed by your ability to keep the car interior clean & uncluttered on vacation.
Yup, no screen or other distraction in sight. I guess we'll have to look at the real world. Those are my two older siblings and my grandmother.People looking away from the camera?!
Why do you think the daughter looks so unhappy?@nsaspook I am impressed by your ability to keep the car interior clean & uncluttered on vacation.

I beg to differ... she has rather an expectant look... and possibly a little tired for the long trip, and grateful to her daddy because of that...

You have a beautiful daughter, btw, NSA... congrats
We were at an isolated landing strip about 7 miles from town (Tonopah) in soon to be almost total darkness with rabbits running over the ground. I don't think it's an unhappy face, it's the face of trepidation we see in every horror movie.
To me that look translates to "seriously?"Why do you think the daughter looks so unhappy?![]()
I also brought a .45 (Taurus) on vacation. I planned to pawn it in Buffalo before driving into Ontario but the timing didn't work out (middle of the night) so I wrapped it in paper towels and plastic bags and stashed it on the side of 219 a few miles south of Buffalo by a deer crossing sign. Came back 3 days later and it was right where I left it.I wasn't afraid (packing a Colt .45) because you could hear a person or animal from a mile away because it was so quiet in the desert.
I am always in favor of solving your own problems!stashed it on the side of 219
