More than half of the population is of mixed European descent. So there's plenty of us that could qualify as "white". But we don't make as much emphasis in race as it's done in the US, since more than 95% of us is of mixed race anyway. It's not uncommon to find brown skinned and blonde children belonging to the same family. At least not in the northern part of the country.Is there a significant population of Caucasians in Mexico (not counting the ex-pats)?
As you go south, population of native descent becomes more common.
