Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a datasheet for a PG1A-05D DIP reed relay made by NEC. I couldn't find any on the internet so far. If anyone could send me one or tell me the pinout of the component, I'd be very grateful.

Sorry, this is not the one. Even though its as long as a 14 pin DIP IC, it only has 8 pins. I will try to describe what I can measure at the pins, I will stick to naming the pins as it had 14: I can measure a dead short between pin 1 and 14; pin 2 and 13; pin 7 and 8. I can also measure a diode drop of 0,5 V with the diode tester of my multimeter between pin 2 and pin 6, no matter in which order I touch the probes to pins 2 and 6. However I can not measure a resistance that would indicate a coil in it. The relay looks like this:

 

If it's a reed relay get yourself a magnet place it near the component those pins that are dead short should then be open.
