unknown component datasheet

Hello,

Absolutely, I've scoured all the archives I could access.

I'm afraid it might be MCUs developed using ST technology, but within the framework of specific partnerships with other manufacturers. In that case, there's no datasheet available from ST, as it was mentioned to me in another forum.

But I was asking, just in case, to broaden the search.

Regards

you left no clues, there is no picture of entire board or indication where this comes from, if there are any other markings or numbers, if this is from some appliance or vehicle etc.

based on what was shared, ic marking, pin count and heavy conformal coating, this is likely custom chip for one of OEMs hence no public datasheet.

first line suggests it is made by Marelly (formerly Magneti Marelly) which is an ST plant in Malta. the second line is internal number for Marelli which is a Teir-1 supplier for brands like Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Ferrari and Ducati.

this is probably an ASIC based on ST10F269 or ST10F280 core. if this chip is deemed defective, the only solution is to replace the board unless you can find identical donor board where damage is elsewhere and the chip is still intact.

ST manufactures a few MCUs in LQFP68 packages. If you can tell us what is the instrument and perhaps post a photo of the whole board, maybe we can narrow the search.
