Hello ! I am trying to simulate a simple schematic but it takes too much time for the software to simulate it.
This is what I found on the output of the PSU (the green trace):

Any help will be appreciated !

I got the LM723 model from the internet. Actually, I tried with 2 models for LM723, both found on the internet but the simulation took to much time in both cases.
I tried your suggestion but it also takes too much time to simulate the circuit...

The reason for using that circuit is the possibility to use a higher voltage transformer for example a 33Vac transformer, which is over 40Vdc after rectifying and filtering.

I need maximum 25V at output. I tried some time ago with a 24Vac transformer but when I set the output voltage at 25V and I connected a constant 3A load (like a resistor), then on the scope the output of the power supply was not a perfect horizontal line, it looked somehow strange (I deleted the screenshot with the scope screen from my pc)... the output which should be a horizontal line was a horizontal line in combination with the ripple on the filter capacitor.
