Wondering if anyone out there knows what the advantages are for using both Class AB style amplifiers for the LF and HF bands ?

In audio, AB is all about power and efficiency. For the same power supply, you'll get a lot more wattage to the speaker rather than wasting it as heat (as class A stages tend to.) What was your alternative? Were you considering a Class A output for the HF?
