hi everyone, I am a university student pursuing physics honours I am building an project in which i need to drive an sine signal on 4-ohm woofer from an function generator. so as not having that much core electronics background I studied some basic circuitry like building a power amplifiers ,opamps, LTSPICE simulation model.
I used a 10V peak or 20VPP signal at low frequency below 200hz.
here in ltspice i have used an opamp TL072 as a voltage follower to buffer the class AB amplifier to the function generator both circuit work perfectly fine but when i connect both subckt the signal is reduced and i have no idea how to handle this situation...
MY purpose is to drive a woofer using function generator..
i will be very glad if someone help

The output on Spice shows only 20 to 24 uV. I would hardly call that working fine with a 20Vpp input.
What are the supply voltages?
Is this an actual circuit or just experimenting on Spice?

No brother i am not REALLY experimenting , as an physics major student withh not having that much grip in electronics. My purpose is to build an vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM) for my college project and in that project i need ::
Is to drive sine wave signal to 4 ohm woofer from available function generator(SM5070) ,so what as i learned, that i need to give power/current drive to the signal i choose an AB class power amplifier and a buffering ckt using an opamp (TL071) from function generator. and now I am stuck here
i would appreciate a guidance or some suggestions what is going on...
:D

Where did you get that schematic?
There are other options using AB class power IC chips without the need for the TL072 buffer.
you are absolutely right, first i thought let's make my own AB class amplifier, learn something new... but now it is more hectic
but yeah Appreciate your attention.
and just for learning something new, how can or what should I do to make my own IC that can drive an woofer from function generator?

Hi DS,
Welcome to AAC.
Is this project a course assessment?

Please post your LTSpice files.
Moderation
here's the ckt file, and my research project is on vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) in that i need to drive sine signal of 10v to woofer from function generator and decided to build by my own rather then ready made, so as an physics major i am completely new to ckt design and learned designing on internet
i really appreciate some resources, guidance .

Doing your own from scratch is not a trivial matter if you are not familiar with electronic design or construction.

Can't you just buy an audio amp module (15W output or greater) for that purpose?
There are dozens available on ebay or amazon.
yeah, you are right and now i would prefer to buy.
and what resource or any book for beginner who wants to learn circuit design. i would highly appreciate
