You proved my point nicely by deleting the post, clearly the chances of any balance or equal application of the rules is non existent, while your a moderator or unable to act in a reasonable make the ban permanent, you might not believe this but forums need people more than people need forums.

There are too many forums out there for me to worry about a ban here.

My gut feeling is in the long run I will be around alot longer than you, mentally I honestly think you are not going to handle whats ahead and I can wait

I read what you posted before it disappeared and I found nothing unjust or rude let alone anything that by my understanding of the present TOS that I would have warranted as being something to make the post deletion worthy.

To be honest if anything it makes me a bit more suspicious of moderators actions and how they relate to certain members and not others. But then looks who's talking. :p

Thank you TMC, I ws starting to think maybe i was wrong, but I have to face the fact there is a vendetta against me, and I cant win.

I've been here more than half your age, and I will be here quite a bit longer. It is the insistence of having the last word and the unwillingness to look at you are doing and saying that gets you in trouble.

You can not win a fight with a moderator on a forum.

If this goes to pattern you will respond with some other pithy remark, then another, then we will have the 7 days imposed. It is under your control though.

Step back and read TCM post, yet again I did nothing wrong and was respectful. it wont m,atter what I do you will continue to find the smallest reason to find a fault with me. you deleted the post then commented so noone could read and decide for themselves if what I was saying was true. so all they see is your response, I used to look upto you so much, you will find this impossible to believe but it upsets me to see you unravel. I know you say your happy, but I dont think so.

You want be interestead but if you really want to know what I see and think pm me, you may not like it but it will be from the heart and respectful. I really am upset for you and what I see laying under the surface. but this if your interestead is something for private pm not public, as little as you think of me I would not post publicaly what worries me about you

We were all ignorant at one time. The trick is to do it gently.
Some people will never understand that they aren't equipped to be an engineering type, but we want to avoid crucifying those who are merely ignorant. Those might grow to be competent one day.;)
Might I suggest that even a modicum of education is more effective than any amount of denigration? --- Just Sayin';):)

Sincerely
HP:cool:
To be clear, I'm talking about idiots. Not ignorant people. Idiots quickly distinguish themselves from the ignorant by ignoring attempts to make them informed.

Everyone just chill.

I see that way too much is being read into each others posts that is likely either not there or relates to something somewhere else.

Personally regardless of eithers age I think both of you are too intelligent to fall for this game.

BTW I've been here three times longer than one of my cats have been alive.

So there! My irrelevant boast about how long I have been here outdoes both of yours. :p

Why do you single out @Hypatia's Protege?
HP wasn't who I was thinking of when I wrote that sentence. I was thinking of myself, in the mid to late 1980s struggling with various tools like grammar checkers and readability statistics. Imagine me running for a dictionary to find out what in the hell did that program meant by saying such things about me.

I use tools to troubleshoot electronics, why not use tools to troubleshoot my shortcomings with the English language. It had me wishing I paid more attention when I was in Catholic school during my primary schooling days.

It is mere coincidence that HP was your first thought to fit the description.

Let's see...
You joined on 10/3/2010 (1936 days ago)
1936 = 20% of 9680
Hence you were born 9680 days ago...

So... Your DOB = July 21 1989? --- Sorry -- I never could resist a data sufficiency problem:oops:;););)

Best regards
HP:D
Well your math is impeccable, and just made my estimation skills look bad. October '85 is when i was born. Im guessing you'll tell me exactly what percentage of my life has been spent here to the 5th decimal. I promise to once again massage your ego if you do. And don't forget to post our sesquipedalian word of the day.

@JoeJester would have gotten WOD credit for sesquipedalian if didn't have to use it in the sentence requesting a WOD. That doesn't have to make sense; if time travel movies can do it, so can I.

Ok, I'll play!:)

You didn't stipulate the day of month so I'll split the difference and use the 15'th

So....
Given a DOB = Oct 15 1985 (11,055 days ago)
Taken with your tenure on this site (1936 days)
You have been a member of AAC for (3520/201)% ≈ 17.51244% of your physical life:cool:

And don't forget to post our sesquipedalian word of the day.
Will Bremsstrahlung do?

Very best regards
HP:)

And HP takes the lead, with 3 points and a meme:

Thanks.

I thought I wasn't cut out for management because I'm not good at getting people to do my bidding. But if I can con HP into doing math for me with no tangible reward, maybe I've got more potential than I realized. Hell, I didn't even make the meme. Stole it from Goggle. I might like this....
