Hey, I'm new to electronics, and for one of my projects, I'm supposed to design an Ultrasonic Rangefinder using Analog components only!
The components include the 555 timers, SN74HC chips (specifically the 4 bit counter), 7 segment display and etc.
Most of the guides I have found online use an...
I have the overview of signal with cut-off frequency fc that I want to sample using an ADC with sampling frequency of fs, I have seen that some of my colleagues wanted to dumb any noise at -60dB at frequency fs-fc as you see it in the picture.
for my understanding of nyquist theorem, I need to...
Dear Team,
Do we need to use pull up resistor when designing a Window comparator using a comparator IC with push pull output(like TLV1805 ).

Dear Team,
May I know how to find the maximum input voltage a didode can handle.I checked many datasheets no info about this.
Can I apply any voltage greater than it's forward voltage.

HARI
I thought at first to use a VCO, but I didn't found any that generates a sine wave with 500Khz. So I thought to use a microcontroller, like Atmel o Arduino, but it's really difficult to create a PWM greater than 4MHz.
Do you know any other way to generate a sine wave?
Hello,
I am new to the amplifier designer. In my demodulator circuit, I have designed CS amplifier to shift the DC level of the modulated signal [attached]. Although I got my desired result, but when I decrease the gain of the amplifier by changing the load resistor then I got an irregular...
Dear Team,
I was trying to study about bootstrapping in electronic circuits.
When I checked in Internet Wiki says it is a method to improve the input impedance of an amplifier.
In the power electronics context, it has another...
Dear Team,
I need to design a current sensing circuit for one of my ASIC evaluation board.
The ASIC will take the current from 0.5mA to 1mA from a 1.8V Supply. Whatever the current it is taking voltage at Vout should remain constant at 1.8V.
Please see the attached circuit . The 1.8V supply is...
Hello
I am demodulating a signal. In which Low Pass Filter (LPF) is used to attenuate high frequency modulated signal. The input and outup of LPF is shown. The problem is the edges of LPF output signal is not square [as shown in figure] which result in poorly selection of lower and upper...
I am a beginner PSPICE, in simulation electrical and electronics circuits. I want to simulate a schematic with the program Micro-CAP 12. I want to look for some graphics from a photodiode PIN which is a InGaAs Photodiode IG22-Series, I want to monitor follow parameters:
responsivity (A/W) vs...
Dear Team,
I am a Hardware Design Engineer, mainly working in Analog Circuits and Power Electronics.
I don't have any coding experience,I have worked on Digital Hardware design to some extend.
It's almost 10 years now.
To grow in my career what and all skill set I need to acquire.
Thanks &...
I made a pre-amp audio circuit but it doesn't seem to work. I want to amplify an audio signal so that it has a DC offset of 1.8V.
I tried to simulate a similar circuit in KiCad and the simulation seems to work ok.
Below is the circuit I designed and assembled. On the scope, the voltage is as...
