I’m leaving this here because for some folks, Big Clive’s style is very simpatico and he comes from an electrical (rather than electronic) background making his perspective different. I recommend any of his videos where the topic is of interest. For some people, his level and style of exposistion are spot on.

 

The application and purpose of capacitors is hard to learn from simply playing with circuits. Understanding basic AC circuit theory is possible to gain from reading a book. So starting closer to the beginning is the way to go.
