What is INDUCTIVE REACTANCE?

And inductor is sort of a frequency-dependent resistor, for AC current. i.e. Its AC resistance is a function of the frequency of whatever AC current you're talking about. The inductive reactance is the AC resistance value as a function of frequency, and is equal to 2 * Pi * freq * inductance.
