After lockdown I'm going to go on a hugging spree. When I get out of jail I'll be back.

 

I will crush at least three of the coffee mugs I use three times a day for coffee. Not in the best shape, I hate them already.

Will buy new cloths, nothing fancy and this cotton jacket to the garbage. I will buy a new good soldering iron and I will go to a good restaurant to eat with people around even if myself alone.

And I will prepare a fantastic barbecue for the 16 of my close family. Yes!!

I am beginning to wonder if this will ever end. There are talks about vaccines though so maybe we will see something soon.

One thing really bothers me though and that is what some people now call the "Medical Industrial Complex" a phrase first coined some years ago.
In this view of the medical industry there is motivation to NOT find cures for some things due to overall financial loss. Will we see a contradiction in the flow of medical progress because of this new virus? That is an interesting question because if they can find a cure for this novel virus within 6 to 9 months or even a year but still havent found a cure for the common cold i wonder if they are feeding into the financial end of it all rather than the medical practice.
I guess it is hard to tell though. Then again also the common cold may not be the best comparison.

Let's just hope and pray that they come up with a good vaccine.
To the credit of people working in this field, there are other treatments now coming out which work pretty well from what i read. At least they can prevent many more people from passing away from the effects of the virus even though they still contract it. That's good news.

HUMANS are a Pandemic. And yes, it will end. When the last human goes extinct. No telling how many animals we'll drag down with us.

My older brother had a smart mouth on him. One afternoon we were working on a car together and I had difficulty finding the hole for a screw. He said "Need a little hair around it?" So I looked at his bearded face and said "Is THAT what that beard is for?!".

 

He said "Need a little hair around it?"

Good one, I hadn't heard that before. I didn't have an older brother to teach me stuff like that.

 

My cousin (female) used that line on me one time. I wish I had that comeback for her. She had a mustache. I KNOW she would have laughed her ass off.

What am I planning to do?
1. Take the 3 vacations I planned last year and had to back out of.
2. Go to a Wisconsin traditional Friday fish fry, have a couple old fashions, wear no mask and feel totally at ease.
3. Go the health club and swim daily, and then get a good steam.
4. Invite the neighbors over for cookouts.
5. Hear live music again.

There may be more. I live like a hermit for the most part and have been only a little bothered by the whole fiasco. But those are the things I miss most.

 

I’ve played MegaMillions. If I win the 1$B, I’ll have to think about what I’ll do with it.

Buying a condo in WDW is one of my first choices.
