So i believe my schematic should look like this after i reduced bottom network, correct?:

And final total resistance would be R1 in parallel with R2 --> R1,2 in series with R3?

The final resistance should work out to 6.64k i believe.

Look harder at the circuit arrangement.

Ok I see that in original drawing R3,R4 and R8 nodes connect to negative node of 5V but in my drawing R8 doesn't. I've have been trying and can't figure out how to put R8?

Redraw it in a "square" format, just like the above exercises.

Continue labeling each point of connection like A and B, continuing with C, D, etc. Redraw it so the same components are on the same nodes in the new drawing.

Solve for Thevenin Equivalent then work it back out from there.
