Check the 3.3V regulator
Check the voltages and post em.
Now the the right post pin should have 5V, since the IC pin 3 is giving 5V.

see the pic in post 247, page 25
before you have marked 0.4V at the 5V and 3.3V jumper pins. Now do the same thing and post the result

Hey nice... we got the voltage regulator working.
Not bad for picture trouble shooting huh!!

But now this time I really need to see the LCD screen display to figure out a way.
Take a pic some how at power on and if any changes occurs after power on.
Is the TV going to stand by after a few minutes.

If a problem is there, I think it is time for another approach.
But this is awkward, so many faults in an instant, this is like 99% impossible.
I might need to some more pics at different angle and assembly. As for this I need to be as physically close as possible and being at earth's ends this is the only way

and after that when hit power button it doesn't turn on. have to unplug it and then plug it back. then hit power button to turn it on

After stand by does the standby LED turns on and off.
or is it just lit

After the video uploading, can you give a full back pic without the back cover.
But before this try to put every thing back, u said it had a DVD player, so try to put every thing back as it was and then do a check, I want to make sure tv is not giving problem becuase of disconnected components and wires.

After that I will tell you what to do.

hey. it is a crappy video. but colors came out the right way. and everytime i took picture out in sun or with flash. it didn't show the redness.

sorry i haven't gotten back to you. hopefully i will tomorrow.
was my cousins Confirmation.
my moms cousins mom died.
have a final tomorrow, tuesday, thursday, and friday.

and also. some jerk side swiped my car and didn't pool over. so got in a hit and run accident. followed the car while gf called police and police told me to just pull over and let him go for my safety. car was barely damaged but still. got his license plate and police looked up the plate and got a match with the vehicle description.

so been a long couple of days. :(
