While doing a research on an electronic circuit, i found out that transistor pins may vary depending on manufacturer. Is this true and how?
Parts with the same part number will have the same pinout.i found out that transistor pins may vary depending on manufacturer. Is this true and how?
Or labeled the pins. I have some Motorola 2N3904 and 3906 that have the leads labeled. I also have house marked Motorola PNP transistors that have the leads labeled.I wish the "BC" Europeans, "2N" Americans and "2S" Orientals got together about little transistor pinouts.
the order and number of pins can be different- that's why you always look at the datasheet. While doing a research on an electronic circuit, i found out that transistor pins may vary depending on manufacturer. Is this true and how?
Most times a datasheet does exist. If there is no datasheet then my advice would be to select a different part. But most times datasheet does not Exist....
The only ones I have trouble with are some very obscure china or korea ones. http://www.datasheetcatalog.com/But most times datasheet does not Exist....
