What a relief... and here I thought I was gonna miss the new Star Trek Discovery series premiere! ... all those drinks and finger food that I bought for my end of the world party will still come in handy! :D

Author is now recanting or at least clarifying his claim.

World will not end but the world as we know it will end. That means Mr. Chips still has more time to buy his clean underwear unless of course one of the changes that is occurring is underwear will no longer be available on the market.

Wow this guy was right.

Steelers with a perfect seasonal record lost to the winless (until today) Bears in OT today. Steelers lost to the Bears?? The world is not as I knew it.

Hi,

Hey wasnt that yesterday or is my clock/calendar off again? I better pinch myself. Am i in heaven now? :)

I dont know if anyone said this yet, but i had followed a couple other 'credible' dooms day prophets and one is well known. I wont mention his name because he is a good guy at heart as i know him from other times when he did some good work. He proposed that there was a timeline that could be followed in the Bible (probably the King James version or perhaps an original Greek text) that pointed to a certain date that is now long in the past. So he was wrong. But then some years later i was surprised to hear him quote yet another date. Needless to say, that did not come to pass either. Apparently he missed the verse that says that, "No man shall know when the the end time shall come" (paraphrased).

The world may end as we know it, but then do we actually have a definition for that? What will we deem worthy of calling it as a world ending? One nuke, two nukes, three, four, several countries firing there weapons?
If there are no humans left but still insects, did the world end?
If all life forms of every kind died, is that the world ending, or does the earth itself have to explode into tiny fragments?

There have been many prophecies that did not come true. It's obvious that there will be more. If something devastating does happen, some people will probably still survive. It could be very hard to survive though because food and water will become harder to come by.

One thing that bothered me the most recently is that there is no way to defend against a global EMP, at least not yet.

The world as I knew it came to an end at noon on Friday Sept 15, 2017. What a great day!
