hello ,
i have a 40 KG load cell which i doubt that it is work correctly ,
for test i connected the black wire to negative and red wire that to +5 V electricity then connect white and green wires to multy meter .
multymeter switched to millivolt DC , it show -1 V and if i pressure to load cell nothing will change .
also resistance between red and black is 286 Ohm , and the resistance of green and white is 286 Ohm too .
is something went wrong ?
should i replace the load cell ?

Measure the resistance of all the 4 elements.

RED TO BLACK, RED TO GREEN and the other pairs

 

RED TO BLACK = 285
RED TO GREEN = 344
RED TO WHITE = 285
BLACK TO WHITE = 400
BLACK TO GREEN = 286
GREEN TO WHITE = 285

If your are confident that the resistance measurements are correct and the fact it will not register a weight as an output mVoltage, indicates the LC is defective,

is it important to connect LC to 10 V ? i use 5 V
last question is it possible to check health of LC only from resistance between elements ? if yes how should we calculate ?

I choose 10V but many LC's use 5V.

Usually the element resistance of all 4 elements are the same value.
