I assume you are looking for a controller solution for a power
supply, one that delivers 7A out at 42 - 48 volts ?

Thank you for the response...
yes.. i tried relay switching but it is very slow. I am looking for a fast switching. The switching should happen in 10ms

What is load ?

In general one thinks of MOSFET or IGBT, maybe isolation, followed by a
gate driver.

Thank you for the suggestion. I already tried MOSFET it was some what ok for the output which i am looking for now i will try IGBT. Input 48V & 7A and output required is also same but switching action should happen in 10ms.

Of course, if you show your scheme, it will help.
But I have specific questions:
1. What is the source of control signal?
2. Is the load grounded?
3. What is the load.
Give advice: IGBT is good for high voltages.Tell me: do you feel sorry for losing 1.5 -2 volts on an IGBT transistor?
