emitter 1.60 change a bit up down, the base goes up an up over 10, the base went up to 8.00 and than nothing the meter return to 1All three leads.

-0.00What does the meter read when you connect the two leads together on the 20K setting?
Ok bro, thank you for your help much appreciate, I'm wait for you tho! CiaoGood. From what you are telling me everything appears to be OK, meaning no shorts. At this juncture normally I would turn the amp ON and see but let's wait until I can continue as I have to leave now.
Sorry I was out as well, I just coming back, the reading are 12.06, on begin it was going up quite fast than it slow down and it "stop" at 12.06, maybe it would still go up a bit but, I do assume it's around that..What was the reading on the collector to ground on the 20K scale? You can also read from the metal tab to ground as well.
The metal tab is the collector.
Yes broThat's all good.
So you have replaced R2 and the TDA correct?
TDA come from the same Bose amp, it has 4 of them, so not 100% sure it's ok, but the other one was ok, so I do assume that this one is ok as wellYes bro
I have 20k resistor, but by doing that is not dangerous for other component on the way?Yes I kinda feel the same.
Do you have any higher value resistors on hand? I'm thinking of substituting R2 with a higher value that will not "explode" when the amp is turned ON if there is still a problem.
The Bose got only 3 conventional resistor with 5 color code, I have to find out the value of them but I don't think those are 1k, the other are SMD tipe20K is too high, can you find one around 1K out of that Bose amp?
I found one green brown black black brown which should be 1.00kThe Bose got only 3 conventional resistor with 5 color code, I have to find out the value of them but I don't think those are 1k, the other are SMD tipe
it's a very small blue one, the chart on this site show 1.00k if I entered the color correctly as is difficult to distinguish, is it 1k or 100k?I found one green brown black black brown which should be 1.00k
