Some transistor mix up....

Count me out. I know nothing about a security system because there are no criminals running around here.
Some people here leave their cars and homes unlocked. Normal people here do not carry guns and other weapons to protect themselves.

lol @Audioguru again

Did he tell you criminals are running around where he is?

and are you not in Ontario, Canada?

"Some people here leave their cars and homes unlocked"

Please did you leave your car and home unlocked tonight? Be truthful, thanks

Also, there is no security system at any bank close to you?

Sad to count you out on the Electronics but you can do so without making statement

"When you're dead, you don't know you're dead, the pain is felt by others. Same when you're stupid." One of us if surely stupid, and I think it is me so I am sorry. Bye

LOLOLOL!!!! Thanks @Audioguru and everybody who replied. What I did was to add more FETs and the circuit worked like a charm. I used the 3.7 volt to 40 volt, modified it and got desired output! Thanks anyway.

OK, now some modified circuit produced 90+ volts to feed an unknown security system at some power level. GOOD! The reason that there were no assertions as to which variety of transistor would be a better choice was primarily because, at least I felt, that there was not yet enough information to make that call. Tossing out a guess is not usually a way to provide useful advice in my opinion. Often you will see that I qualify a statement as being a guess based on limited information. That is because it certainly appears that there is not enough data to make the definitive declarations that don't apply to the question at hand.
I am glad that the circuit worked for you, and wonder just what changes were in the final working version.

OK, now there is confusion on my part. Post #29 claims that you added more FETs, in parallel, I presume, and it worked like a charm. Then post #31 states that you used 3 bipolar Junction transistors and it worked like a charm. So perhaps the circuit is not so very critical? Or what?

FETs worked and BJT's worked too, by the way, my old electronic friend recommended one weird type of transformer as the inductor...

The reason why I dropped the FETs for the BJT's is because of the Voltage handling. But anyway, the thing here is that the circuit works.
