I am working on a project to make a shock collar controlling voltage level with PWM from a MicroController.

I want to order a SMD PCB board and I'd like input to get it right before I make the design to send in to JLPPCB.

So I have a Li-ion batt. Going to a buck/boost regulator outputting 5v with a built in LDO to drop out at 2.7v.
Going into a switching converter to boost to 35v-40v
Here is where I thought I could have a transistor or fet controlled by PWM by the MC.
Then have a zener or rectifier ziode rated to 350v reverse current feeding a flyback transformer w/ a 1:10 ratio to an output prong. The other prong would be a ground prong.

* I would need a current regulating IC.
* would I need some capacitors as well?

Any advise would be greatly appreciated!
