Simple soldering issue on a USB cable

If I understand you correctly, you have an AV cable that plugs into the camera. That cable has RCA jacks on the other end. IF that's correct then there are no lines you could use to charge the camera. But if there's a USB-A on the same end as the RCA's then there's hope. At this point all you'd need is a charger that accepts USB-A. But if you don't have USB-A then there's no hope you could use that cable for charging the battery.
