Simple Bench Power Supply 10A

You didn't show the power supply voltage for the comparator, So I used the 5 volts. I don't think you want to use the bulk supply for the regulator because at high line voltage it's output may be to high for the comparator. (36 volts) So if you use 5 volts for power the input voltage spec on the comparator says the input can only go to Vcc - 1.5 or 3.5 volts.
I need to get to the other computer to see your spice file.

Add ground to 5 volt supply.
Change to transient analysis
Add some resistance to the inductor
move the 392k resistor over so the output is not grounded.
Add a "ramp" to the input voltage.

Consider the power supply dc voltage at the rectifier. C1 will be 1.414 x the transformer ac or for 36 Vac it would be 50Vdc. If you have a 10 amp load at 15 Vdc the power transistors will have to dissipate 350 Watt. (P= IxE). You will need a few more series pass transistors to accommodate that power. You might use a per-regulator to reduce voltage to the series pass transistors. I have a 5 amp SCR circuit in development. It needs work on the loop control, but controlling the SCR is fully functional. I have not search for a 20 Amp SCR, perhaps they can be paralleled as 10 amp devices are common. Big heat sink and at least 6 pass transistor.

Dont bother to try to split the secondary of the transformer. Use two diodes one from each end of the center tapped 60 volt transformer to the filter cap. You can get almost the same power out of the transformer as 2 parallel 30 volt windings. Since the current is pulsed, the I2 r loss will be slightly higher.

Well i am back with this project.
Sorry for long absence but had many work and some more things to do
I now thanks god found the time to continue this project

I decided finally not to use a voltage comparator because of absence of time and want to finish this project.
So as i have described at earlier post i will use the switch for low and hi voltage transformer.

Below is a little progress i have done with it today !

Must mention that i did not drill the holess yet for the potentiometers...

Have it in mind to paint it but haven't decided the color
Any ideas what color to paint it ?

Have put almost everything together and soldered 220V wires to the transformers, power switch, fuse transformer switcher...

And Video from the Hi Low LED indication :)

I hope to finish this soon!
The PS front panel and cover will be painted tomorrow i hope. Will post the results

The quality of spray painting on the case looks very professional, like the product on the market, very nice.
How many times did spray paint on the case?

Our product also had the similar spray painting, but we paid the factory to do, not doing that by ourself.

I only have spray gun with 1 mm output and of coursea small air compressor.
I am not a pro. I only use it for diy.

A small amount of color left-over from my PS project. If you want i can paint you for free a case or something similar
By the way what product is it you have?
