Between those two pins could also be a bi-colour LED, so that one pin high and the other low makes one of the colours light.

Hello,

To look at the schematic it looks like a guitar tuner.
The program in the PIC compares the input from the guitar with a reference in the PIC.
As far as I can see there are three of those contacts.
Probably the pins have the following function:
LLO , a led for a to low frequency.
LOK, a led for an OK frequency.
LHI, a led for a to high frequency.

I think the site where you found the schematic will have more info on it.
