Simple relay schematic question

I've connected this simple time delay relay before, but need a tip this time as I'm not getting output.
I have 110v supplied to A1 and A2. I read nothing on 15,16 or 18, even after time delay has passed. It is a "delay on" relay.
I have 2 of these relays. One new. Both unlikely to be defective, so has to be operator error!
Suggestions most welcome.Screenshot_20250816_200732_Amazon Shopping.jpg

OK, understand that those terminals, 15, 16, and 18, are contacts and not outputs. #15 connects to #16 until the relay operates, then it connects to #18. So whatever you connect to #15 comes outof either #16 or #18.
The circuit shown in post #1 is very clear about that.

If the relay power is supposed to be A1 and A2, then there is a problem with the circuit shown in post #4. I think tyhat the connection to terminal A2 should go to the other side of the lamp.. As shown, when the lamp is switched ON, the timer power switches off., with both A1and A2 tied to the hot side.

@panic mode Examine your diagram. A1 & A2 are AC power. Observe the Tilda ( ~ ) in the TS drawing.

Here's my take on this:

Before being set (below) Line is on pin 16. SET has not been "Set".

SET has been set (Next pic) and now Line is on pin 18. The load (light bulb) is energized.

After SET has been released (below), the relay continues to hold pin 18 hot for the pre-determined time period.

Once the time period has expired the system shuts the light off (below)

It's on delay.
We supply hot side of 110v to 15 and it contacts 18 after the preset time.
Here's the modified drawings to match your description:
At rest. The light is off.

SET has been set (Next pic) Timing period begins. The light is still off.

SET has been released and the timing period has expired. The light comes on.

My NEXT question for consideration is "How do you turn the light off?"

check timing diagram.
Un - Supply voltage (permament-ish...)
S - switch closure, timer start timing after S is off (including on power-up). then after time t output is energized.
R - relay output (NO). NC is opposite....

that is one option. the other is to turn switch on. both are clearly shown in the time diagram.
if different operation is wanted, just move lamp wire from NO to NC contact.

I'm just wondering why you want to turn on a light, leave the room, then have the light come on after you've left? And we still don't know how the light is going to be shut off. And we're just assuming the load is a light. So let's ask the 64K dollar questions - what's the load? And why should it be delayed?
