Power Switch LED Fading Effect

As a slight varitation, we could add light level and proximity sensors.

The ambient light level sensor to determine the final led brightness.
A proximity sensor would allow the requested led effect to be seen, each time someone approached the switch.
Probably then lean towards a MCU solution.....?
