Hello community I was looking at a youtube video by a gentleman call electroboom. The subject was graphite and its conductivity.
In the background he used a series of capacitors to produce at least 30 amps.I tried to emulate but to no avail. Is it possible to have a series
of capacitors to exhibit a 30 amp or less charge.I've use graphite rods connected to a battery nothing.I've tried the 12v to 120 v convertions
nothing. what am I doing wrong I only want to have two graphite rods touching just to see a spark gap. Thanks

Welcome to AAC!

A series of capacitors and capacitors in series can mean different things to different people. We can better understand what you mean with a drawing. Circuit schematics is the language of electronics. You need to post a circuit drawing.

ElectroBOOM as he goes by has likely a dozen videos out there on the net concerning capacitors. A link to the specific video you reference would go a long way in you getting good advice and expiations of things.

I would not expect any presentation on the cartoon channel (AKA you tube) to be correct .
There might actually be some correct information presented, but I would not expect it normally.
What you did not see was the large power supply hidden outside of the camera view.
