You got it! Down in Iowa and Oklahoma some crossings still use electromechanical wig wags instead of alternately flashing lights! I figure there must be huge LEGITIMATE collector interest in railroad memorabilia but the word around is laws governing possession of former RR property make it tough. The history and tech of railroad signals is a nearly bottomless rabbit hole, but I have always found them fascinating.

Actually, the new district yet has problems with mobile coverage. The new buildings block the existing cell phone signals. They’re looking into the best location for new towers but continued construction has made it difficult.I see the Federal Reserve. The 145.230 Boston Red Cross repeater was on that building, don't know if it still is. It had great coverage at 600 feet.
What are you talking about? Are you complaining about this shot? It's spectacular!Great Blue Heron on the St. Joseph River in Mishawaka, IN.
The light was awful, I was waiting for the sunrise, which disappointed unfortunately, but this guy decided to land about 50m from me. With the 2x extender, the aperture is limited to /5.6 so I had to shoot at 1/10s and ISO3200. I need to go back out in better light and find it again.

It's noisy, the color is nearly impossible to correct because of the light. The focus is not sharp because of the very long exposure required. What are you talking about? Are you complaining about this shot? It's spectacular!
Yeah, I can see all that ... but the moment is perfect! It's noisy, the color is nearly impossible to correct because of the light. The focus is not sharp because of the very long exposure required.
A perfect shot of the bird would merely be a bird photo. This shot captures that certain ethereal look of pre-dawn light, which to me makes it art. It would be beyond awesome to have both in the same photo. It's noisy, the color is nearly impossible to correct because of the light. Yes... that's another thing, even the fuzziness makes it look surreal... you're too much of a perfectionist, Yaakov. Beauty is very often found in imperfection itself.A perfect shot of the bird would merely be a bird photo. This shot captures that certain ethereal look of pre-dawn light, which to me makes it art.
