Personally, I like the second better.
I have thought about this kind of issue in photography for a while and it came up with @Yaakov 's Crane pic. I know exactly what he means by "I'll go back and do that again" [I'm paraphrasing]. I have said the same thing many, many times. I'm not going to say with certainty what he meant, but I think he simply meant that he did not get what he was after. I read your comments about the shot and I see your point, but I think, in so many instances, it comes down to, what were you after? That is what I would ask your wife, because both shots are nice and they are different. You know what I mean?
