They searched pretty extensively off and on over the years. There was a gossip rag, "Worldwide News" I think, that reported it found (and not by aliens). We've been assured it is inert and of no possible danger. FWIW Strange that in 60+ years there has not been any hint of radiation above background level.

MIAMI (AP) — Peacocks could be on the outs in some South Florida neighborhoods after the Miami-Dade commission agreed to loosen a law protecting the birds.

While the 20-year-old law still protects peacocks from harm, commissioners agreed Tuesday to allow cities to opt out if they present appropriate plans to humanely remove the divisive birds from areas where they’re not wanted, the Miami Herald reported.

“Mating season is when we get the most complaints. They get very aggressive,” said sponsor Raquel Regalado, whose district includes neighborhoods in Coral Gables and Miami where peacocks roam freely. “They lay their eggs, they build their nests, they peck the cars.”

Florida school bus driver arrested for driving drunk with 40 kids on board, deputies say
McNeil was taken to the hospital where deputies say he tried to run away but was quickly arrested. A breathalyzer revealed McNeil had a blood alcohol level of 0.32, four times the legal limit.
When deputies arrived at the hospital McNeil attempted to flee.

“This drunk thought it was okay to endanger 40 children and other drivers by driving a loaded school bus significantly impaired,” Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly said. “Thankfully, no one was hurt as a result of his actions. I commend the employee who reported him to school officials. Anyone whose careless actions endangers lives of children and other drivers deserves to be locked up, which he was.”
