The images are of NOS line output transformers -- I use them in power supplies for radiography equipment...this
Well, I should think it would be obvious from the outset that each man does 1/100 of the job per day and each boy does 1/200 of the job per day --- So... take it from thereIf 6 men and 8 boys can do a piece of work in 10 days while 26 men and 48 boys can do the same in 2 days, the time taken by 15 men and 20 boys in doing the same type of work will be:
I'll bet Aelph is thinking the same thing about the EHT thread.Had you been paying attention instead of larking about the site and taking time-outs you might have better followed the lessons!![]()
Perhaps impatience will drive her to write the Intro! -- One can but hope!I'll bet Adelph is thinking the same thing about the EHT thread.![]()
Stay calm. All is well. Sooner or later (most likely later) this will end, and we'll be able to look back on this monster thread and laugh (if we're not laughing already).Arghh! Frustrating to read. Must... not... give... answer... The Dark Side is strong!
That is good advice!Stay calm. All is well. Sooner or later (most likely later) this will end, and we'll be able to look back on this monster thread and laugh (if we're not laughing already).
Around 600 posts ago, I simply let go of the fanciful idea that I could ever influence either of these people for the better and decided to "let it be."
Having done that, I feel a lot better and now am just making popcorn and having a good time watching.
And for all that, I maintain that @RRITESH KAKKAR has demonstrated talent via his comprehension of, and, indeed, proficiency in, more advanced concepts/areasI had a friend once who didn't understand the difference between talent and skill. Talent we're born with; skill comes with practice and hard work. With both we get Perlman:
Without talent, skill may not come even with much practice, and a person can find themselves out of their league, sort of like me playing the trumpet in high school.
Could make for an interesting experiment in statistical analysis -- with an 'eye to' the correlation vs causation 'debate' (such that it is)I wonder if an AI program, after collecting a set of only positive results, tries to correlate that set with another un-related set?
What this mean in simple word pls.And for all that, I maintain that @RRITESH KAKKAR has demonstrated talent via his comprehension of, and, indeed, proficiency in, more advanced concepts/areas--- Clearly, his principle challenge is development of mental discipline (witness his difficulty with 'data sufficiency' exercises)...
let x be men and y be boysIf 6 men and 8 boys can do a piece of work in 10 days while 26 men and 48 boys can do the same in 2 days, the time taken by 15 men and 20 boys in doing the same type of work will be:
I mean merely that, IMO, you've shown a great deal of potential -- the realization of which requires 'mastery' of concentrationWhat this mean in simple word pls.
Having carefully considered the stipulations, the above quoted text should be obvious -- almost a 'trick question' in that regardWell, I should think it would be obvious from the outset that each man does 1/100 of the job per day and each boy does 1/200 of the job per day --- So... take it from there![]()
Ok here's some 'quantitative assistance'how did you get 1/100 and 1/200?
