hello im back again i have a question i searched for a mosfet and in its datasheet its says Typ. 60 S siemens . what does that mean. i read somewhere i says 1 siemens = 1 amp per volt does that mean this transistor will able to allow 60 amps per 60 volts ?

i allready read this but my english is not that good what i want to learn is is it going to be like if its 60 Siemens is after mosfet TH if i apply 1 more volt ist going to able to take 60 amps ? or is it +1 amp for each 1 volt ?

 

60 siemens equals 1/60Ω = 0.0167Ω = 16.7mΩ drain-source resistance (under the specified conditions).
It does not say anything about how much current the MOSFET can handle. That is a separate part of the specification.

 

What source are you searching for a Mosfet in and what is the application?

Resistance (ohns) and Conductance (siemens)
Reactance (ohms) and Susceptance (siemens)
Impedance (ohms) and Admittance (siemens)
