It edits fine in my LTS (version XV11). In File Explorer, just double-click on the file name and LTS should pop up as the default app to open it.The symbol is rather ugly but apparently it cannot be edited.

Try changing the file extension.I see that the file extension is txt rather than sub. Now the error msg makes sense. Not sure what to do.

In the folder ...Documents\LTspiceXVII\lib\sym\ZZZ\Sound_Amplifiers is the file of the symbol LM386.asy. With this symbol, any model from Lm386 and Lm386_ is called.
