I am looking for LED sockets for a prototype board I am doing. The only ones I have found are for surface mount, what I need are sockets with longer leads for thru hole mounting.

While LED's mount just fine in 2.54 mm spaced holes, maybe you are looking for spacers - http://www.keyelco.com/products/prod12.asp?SubCategoryID=57
You can also use female headers.
