@scustalow
I have tried to hunt down a set of these for awhile (With no luck). I do have a pair of non-working ones in my possession. As I've said in earlier posts I dismantled one of them to get the PCB wiring right. They no longer manufacture one or two of the components of the amp as far as I know. I have not relayed this information to the forum yet but several months ago (8 or 9) my Mom started getting worse and we all had to help take care of her, so I had to put my project on hold again. My Mom passed away about 2 - 2 1/2 weeks ago. I will start back on it again as quick as I can.

Don't think there's any more of these floating around on ebay or in some dark corner of some store. If you find one/a pair count yourself lucky.

There are several photos of them in this thread. Somewhere around pages 5, 6, 7. Haven't took to many more than what's in the thread. Page 7, post #140 gives you a whole view of one. You can look through the pages and it will even give you pics of some of the components. Post #192 and #200 (marked #1 in the pic in post #192) gives you a pic of one of the components I think are no longer manufactured.

@scustalow and ebeowulf17. Thank you, We miss her a lot.

If I can help you in any way I will. But I'm not an electronics expert and got my help from all the great people here.

I do know the originals came with a center tapped transformer and had a double wound speaker coils. They later changed the design and added another type of transformer (other component I can't find) to use a normal single wound speaker. Post #206 gives you another one of the components I couldn't find. It somehow turns a three wire system into a two wire system to allow a two wire single coils speaker. I owned both at one time and thought I saved the other ones but can't find them anywhere.

ebay has small amps but the cost isn't very good..I read somewhere there was a person who bought 200 left over speakers from the company I am trying to contact them

Thank you shortbus… I appreciate your help on this project when I needed it.
Thank "ALL" of you.
My Mom had a hard life but She was a Trooper. At age 16 or 17 she was in a car wreak that crushed both her legs. Later in life She lost one and about 20 years later lost the other. Don't let it bother you She put on the first artificial leg at about 30 years old and never stopped. After losing the second at 50 or so She did the same and never missed a beat. Only to be hit with Alzheimer's and Dementia late in Her life. It's hard to watch as your Mother doesn't know who She is much less you. I was there the night She died.
Her words were don't put me in no "Damn" hospital, you let me die at home......We did.

tough lady..both my grandmother and mother wouldn't go until I left them.. I wanted to stay with them but I did as they wanted..even though both told me to go home and get some sleep ..In my grandmothers case she knew before she went in the hospital as she gave me photos and such and a chair I always liked..when we cleaned out her house she had left my bedroom as I had left it..I lived with her for many years..I didn't have the heart to tear it all down so I picked up the dresser and other items and put them in my garage..as they have been..

I looked for months with no luck. You could search and see a post for someone selling them but that auction was many years ago or the link was no longer good. I'm sure somewhere in a closet or shed there's a pair still working. But I don't think they would even be aware that someone else would love to buy them.

Try putting something on Facebook or some other media. I didn't try that because I refuse to use social media of that type.

Now your starting to see where I started running into my problems. My next thought was OK if I can't find any I have a pair here and I'll just buy all the parts and build one myself...….That didn't work out either. As I said a couple of the components are no longer made or at least I can't find them. In my research I found they could take the parts open them up and make a new one but the cost was in the thousands to do it and have a run of them made.
The transistors were Motorola and was a push/pull type of amp. There was a capacitor ( I think) that was no longer made but I think you might get by this with a couple in series or something but never looked into it.

So I started to design a new one with updated components and here I am.

There is a AutoCad drawing and pics of the PCB somewhere in the thread. Don't think it has dimensions on it though.

Hope you have better luck than I did on finding a pair.
