Some IQ test, I get them all right and get 141, and others get 3 wrong and get 150? Someone should check the IQ of the person who did the scoring algorithm.

Some lie and or cheat before showing their results.

Things to consider about IQ from someone who opinions on the subject are probably worth considering. ;)

The same score (even the same wrong questions) produces a different IQ depending on the age and gender you enter.

From what I know, age should have nothing to do with IQ. Perhaps in the very elderly maybe but I thought IQ should remain pretty much the same.

Surprisingly I scored about the same on this test as I did way back when I took the test a million years ago in school. Though my score might be skewed for may advanced age. ;)

I'm not saying whether it SHOULD or not. The fact is, for this hokey test, that it DOES. Go back and look at the tests I ran.

Did anyone get the count 4 sided figure question? I say you intelligence to count 4 sided figures can be done with a lot less blocks than those. When you have that many, you start running into visual or ADT issues which really don't have an impact on IQ. People with those types of issues would need to be tested differently Some people are borderline and aren't even aware of such issues so I suspect that such a question can skew their results.

Also I want to know if there is a trick to counting the 4 sided figures or it is simply putting in the work to count them. I kept loosing track of where I left off.

My approach: 1) how many four sided figures with no internal horizontal or vertical lines; 2) how many with 1 vertical line; 3) how many with 1 horizontal line; 4) how many with 1 ea. horizontal/vertical, etc.

These kinds of questions also get at the legalese of what was meant versus what was stated.

I really doubt the people that came up with this test really cared about people with various issues -- or even about whether this "test" tested anything at all.

But in forcing some poor figure to affirm or deny it's four-sidedness, you are engaging in microaggressive behavior that only serves to further stigmatize those figures that are sided-unsure.
Most told me they were not sure where they should pee.

Each four sided figure has exactly one upper left corner. I went methodicall through the upper left corners, left to right, top to bottom, and counted how many rectangles each was part of.

By the way, I did not get them all right as I thought. I got two wrong, so the score discrepancy was not as bad as it looked.

When I clicked the link to see which ones I got wrong, I expected it to show me my incorrect answers, not just each question with the correct answer marked.

That's why I'm discussing on this forum.
I like to ask this community of people with IQ over average.

The average is 100.

I know that success in life depends only on 40% on IQ.
The rest of the EQ

Not very good.
The key point is to make a wrong result well done.
This seems easy that is wrong.

Doing the result in that way do not raise suspicions that it is intentionally wrongly.

All you have to do is determine the correct answer and pick something else.

All you have to do is to see the correct answer at the end of the test and try again.
