Stairs. How quaint. I suppose the transporter was broken?
No, they just watched that old movie 'The Fly' and decided landing would be better this time. Of the impossible things from Star Trek the transporter is usually listed as the most impossible thing from Star Trek because all the particle would need the same positions and momenta that they had before you were teleported. This required a “Heisenberg Compensator” coil to correct.

Sadly, my credit score is higher than my IQ. Maybe I should become a truck driver. Drive something with a slightly lower number of wheels than my IQ.

The Heisenberg Compensator coil? Shoot! I think I have one of those in my garage. Been using it to store free energy. As long as "Zero" is considered a state of energy. I got LOTS of storage devices. My cup. Fridge. Gas tank. Bank account.

Permanent dental implants and Fiber One? We know for what you've been shopping... :D
Haha I didn't even realize the ads were on there. So many ads so many places, I don't even see them anymore. I don't know whose data mining service they use but they need to fire them. I haven't looked up dental implants and don't know what fiber one is.

I took the test and got every answer correct and it reported an IQ of 151.

Out of curiosity, I took the exam again and chose 8 of the questions that I would intentionally miss and which wrong answers I would give. It reported an IQ 0f 75 (I used the same birthdate and gender).

I then took the exam again, this time saying that I was a female born on 01 Jan 2000 and answered the 20 questions including the preplanned wrong answers at the pace of one question every 4 seconds. It reported an IQ of 140. I then took the test again, using the same answers and going at the same pace, but this time telling it I was a male born on 01 Jan 2000 and it reported an IQ of 160+.

In other words, it's click bait.

I think I lost some points because I purposefully chose Feb 29 of a non leap year for my birthday.

Gotta have a pretty low IQ score to think an IQ score means anything. It's just someone's test and rating method they came up with to measure one person against another. I don't care to be measured against my peers.

I was once asked what kind of people I like to hang around with. My answer was "Smart people." When asked why I responded "Because they don't irritate the heck out of me."

I can understand if giving a lower score to an older person for the same responses, but it sure seems like maxing out the score for someone that missed nearly half the questions is pretty unreasonable. I don't know if it takes how fast you answer questions into account or not, so I tried to eliminate that variable. But I think it's hard to justify taking gender into account in any strong way on otherwise identical submissions.

The fact that it is a static test with the same answer options in the same order AND that it lets you see the answers (though not YOUR answers, just a static shot of the correct answers) and take the test again pretty well moves it into the click bait category. But, at least they didn't let you take the test and then insist that you enter your e-mail address or register someplace in order to get the results, so I'll give them kudos for that.

If you've ever been a fan of those Sy-Fy flicks you may have noticed that in many different films they've reused the same props over and over again. The one I recall seeing the most was those gauges (in Forbidden Planet) when they were in the control room and the monster from the Id was burning through the door. Those gauges that look like Pac Man staring down at his shoes; I've seen them in MANY other films. Go on a Sy-Fy binge and see what other props get used over and over.
Roger Corman was famous for that. He had lotsa ideas and zero money.

I have little use for IQ tests and scores in general, but my understanding is that any such test (i.e., attempting to measure this nebulous thing called "intelligence" as separate from "education") taken after about sixth grade is just too polluted with things that you have learned irrespective of how intelligent you are to have any meaning.

I don't trust any IQ test that says I have over a 125 on a bad day or that says a bunch of people have over 130 on any day.

I'm looking into ordering a digital Heisenberg Compensator. Hopefully they'll charge according to my IQ level. Oh, wait, that might not be a good thing. If they see I'm dumb they will up the price.
