Beside the ability to use the clamp feature around a wire to get a reading and the price can you tell me which meter has the better range. IDEAL 61-757 vs KAIWEETS KM601

That depends on what you mean by "better range". The Kaweets meter is 10000 count, and the ideal is 6000 count so the Kaweets can measure to 9999 on it's 4 digit display, and the Ideal to 6000 on it's 4 digits (of whatever units).

What does that 10000 and 6000 count mean exactly?
It means the meter can count units up that number before it has to drop a digit of precision or just stop. So, take a 6000 count meter with four digit display. It can show you up to 6.999V but then it will show 7.00, up to 69.99, and then 70.0, etc. The pattern for 10000 counts.

If you look at the meter specs you will see the ranges follow that pattern too.

Here's what I'm having trouble understanding I don't see or I can't figure out what the direct comparison is because it doesn't look like every category of spec is giving an identical value between the two meters to compare so here are the specs for the Kaiweets:
