I'm trying to use a 130vdc motor that i'd like to use for a project, however i live in a place with 240vac so i'm not entirely sure as to if i could still use this motor with just a bridge rectifier and speed controller, i'd be very grateful if someone could answer, Thanks.

What kind of project? What is the end use?
You should be able to get away by using a drive off of 240v, as long as it uses PWM control for example, You need to ensure that the control does not allow the motor to exceed 130vdc by some means.
As you do not over speed it, the higher voltage on this motor should not harm it, in itself.
